Once someone has been referred to us, either by their own personal choice, by a relative, friend, or through the National Health Service or Social Services, we invite the prospective resident or their representative to visit the home and meet with an administrator who will show them round and answer any questions they might have.

Once a visit has taken place, and if appropriate, one of our Managers will make an arrangement to undertake a pre-admission assessment at the home or hospital where the prospective resident is staying.

Pre-admission assessment

The pre-admission assessment is carried out to assess the specific needs and requirements of the individual and ensures that these can be met.

Once this has been undertaken and agreed, a date is set for the prospective resident to move in.
